    Check it works

    Open a new chat and ask:
    The assistant should look the data up through Connect MCP and answer with real figures.

    If something goes wrong

    A button did nothing
    The app is probably not installed, or your browser blocked it. Install the app, or use the steps and copy boxes instead.
    “Unauthorized” or 401
    Sign in again. With an access key, check it starts with lmt_ and has not been replaced by a newer one.
    No Connect MCP tools in the chat
    Restart the app. In chat apps, switch Connect MCP on for the conversation.
    Work or team plan
    Claude Team and Enterprise, and ChatGPT Business, let only admins add connectors. Ask yours to add Connect MCP once for everyone.
